Bienvenidos a Nicaragua

Just wanted to drop a quick line out to let everyone know that I made it to Nicaragua in 1 piece. I got no sleep last night and then once I got here we had more training, and I almost fell asleep. But we have a few more days of the retreat here at the hotel, and then I will be meeting my host family!! Tomorrow, we have our Spanish language tests, to see what level we are in, and then we get our shots tomorrow as well!! Cant wait...god I love needles :)

So glad you made it safe and sound. I tried to call you yesterday before I thought you would be leaving DC, but your phone was already off. Works been crazy busy so I didn't get a chance to check your blog earlier. I just got two teeth pulled today, so I'm all doped up on Xanex and Vicodin. So I know I'll be sleeping well tonight and I hope you can do the same. Catch up on some of that rest and try not to get some sort of man eating flesh disease in the first 3 days you're there! Love ya and miss ya! Muah! Take care Babe! Talk to you soon.

Hmm for some reason I think you will do very well at the spanish test. Something in the back of my head says that. Hopefully you dont bomb. JK! Um and the needle thing. You like needles? Ehh not so much me, but good for you. Have a good couples of days on the retreat, and sleep as much as possible in a nice bed. Cause who knows if your host family will make you sleep in a drawer or something. Maybe under the table. Have a good one, and glad to hear that things are going a bit better. Talk to you later kiddo!
